The Heir by Kiera Cass cover!

If you religiously follow Kiera Cass or you have amazing friends on Goodreads or for whatever reason, you may have noticed that The Heir's cover was released!  Here it is!

Goodreads (The Selection #4)
To be honest, I love this cover so much more than the other's.  This dress is so gorgeous - ME WANT!  And the model isn't in a totally awkward position.  Here's the blurb:

"Twenty years ago, America Singer entered the Selection and won Prince Maxon’s heart. Now the time has come for Princess Eadlyn to hold a Selection of her own. Eadlyn doesn’t expect her Selection to be anything like her parents’ fairy-tale love story. But as the competition begins, she may discover that finding her own happily ever after isn’t as impossible as she always thought."

OMG.  Okay so I am getting just a bit tired of America and Maxon's love story but I'm so excited to read this book!  Although, just reading the blurb makes me hope that it won't just be The Selection 2.0.  Because that would be suckish.

How do you feel about The Heir and it's cover?  Any predictions?

  1. Oh wow. The cover is so pretty. :D
    But seriously, another selection?
I thought America wanted to eradicate the selection?
    Or was I wrong? o.o

    1. I know right! Yeah... that's what I thought too... and then I thought what if this just centers around her love story and not around any of the rebels or anything? Here's what Kiera Cass said on her blog:
"And fourth, I have been hearing from you all day "Girls weren't supposed to have Selections!" "I thought she was supposed to marry a prince!" and tons of other different thoughts on the cover info. And, yes, that's true. So don't you want to know how Maxon and America's daughter ended up in this position? May 5, 2015, guys. I'm nervous and excited. More info to come over the next few months, I'm sure. EEP!"

      So I don't know!

  2. I've just seen this on Goodreads and I think it's gorgeous! That dress is just so damn pretty.
I'm looking forward to this story and I'm excited to see how things worked out for Maxon and America and how their daughter turned out. I'm not afraid of a Selection 2.0 because I think a lot of things must have changed in 18 years. I'm more afraid of if Eadlyn will be an America 2.0, that would be oh-so-boring.

    1. Yay me too! Oh goodness yes that would be horrible. All the indecision all over again. Oh and America and Maxon actually had twins!

"First, this is news that you should know by now, but in case you’ve missed it, we finally know if Maxon and America are having a boy or a girl. Turns out… it’s both! Yes, we have Schreave twins coming! And as far as who will be born first, it’s our baby girl."

      and...
"Third, and this is brand new information as of this second... her twin brother is named Ahren. If you're confused on this one, too, it's pronounced AIR-en... like Aaron or Erin, but not. And Ahren, well, he may be Eadlyn's twin, but he is not her mirror, if that makes any sense."

So this will be so cool to see how this all plays out!

  3. Great post! I love the cover & am excited to see how the actual selection process will pan out, seeing as it's in the reverse with guys instead of girls this time.
