Top Ten Tuesday (5)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish.  Every week, The Broke and Bookish post a new topic that that week's top ten lists are based on!  This week's topic is: Ten Places Books Have Made Me Want To Visit (real or fictitious)!

Let's get started!

This isn't even a contest honestly.  Number one place I want to visit - Hogwarts!  I think most everyone whose read these books would agree :D

Goodreads

Narnia!  It would just be such an epic place to go - while Lucy, Susan, Edmund, and Peter are the rulers of course.

This whole world just fascinates me.  I would love to visit Middle-Earth!  Ooo and the Shire to visit all the hobbits!

Goodreads

Yeah.  Do I even need a reason for this?  The epicness of this world just overflows.

Goodreads

Again, this world is just epic!  I think I have an addiction to fantasy worlds...

Goodreads

I really love historical fiction and this is set in 1899 Manhattan.  That would be so cool just to travel back in time and see how everything is different!

I really want to visit a paper town now!  When they found it, I just thought that was so cool.  If you don't know what a paper town is, it's basically a fake town (they put it on the map but it isn't there in real life) the was made to ensure no one is copying a map.

I really, really, really want to go to London now!

Goodreads

Yeah.  Amsterdam.  Tell me you saw that coming!  But yeah, there are so many cool things to see there!

Goodreads

Prague!  Need I say more?  I just want to visit everywhere :D

That is de list!  Have you read any of these books or want to go to any of these places too?

  1. Hadn't thought of Narnia, but that would be fascinating to visit! I would also like to see Hogwarts, and maybe get a try at putting on the sorting hat... :)

  2. Lovely list!
I have many on this list that I wanted to add but found ones I loved more. Like 1899 Manhattan, The Luxe series... I loved the first two or three books but gave up on the series when that guy whose name I can't remember but loved, died after they got married and the other guy whose name I can't remember either got married to that stupid bitch. Sorry for being a 'bit' confusing.

    1. Thanks! Haha yeah that's kind of how the story went... I forgot their names too. I just remember loving the setting and all the dresses and such :D It's so hard just confining this list to ten! I tried narrowing it down but I just couldn't do it so I went with the first ten ^.^
