I've also read The Orient Express by Agatha Christie and it was the same sort of thing: really detached even though it was an interesting mystery. It just trivialized the whole thing :P Thanks!Laura @BlueEyeBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12983345219563729728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2913730726494465142.post-80575770677160059642016-01-01T05:35:15.593-08:002016-01-01T05:35:15.593-08:00I really enjoyed this novel, but I did have some p...I really enjoyed this novel, but I did have some problems with it, thus my 4 star rating. At the beginning I had a hard time remembering who was who, and I couldn't develop a connection to any of the characters. My biggest problem was one that you mentioned, as well, and that is how little the stress and fear of the situation/characters came through. I went into this book with HUGE expectations, so that might be part of the reason I didn't really enjoy this.
Amazing review! :)
Veronika @ The Regal CritiquesVeronika @ Wordy and Whimsicalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06813427718618609226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2913730726494465142.post-4428003607469572292015-12-31T17:27:18.510-08:002015-12-31T17:27:18.510-08:00I loved the book, especially the part where the Te...I loved the book, especially the part where the Ten Little Indians poem into the mystery. I haven't watched the movie before, but from what it seems like, they completely changed the ending? That's disappointing. :( Great review!

Cloe @ Mornings and EpiloguesCloehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09028467864131564239noreply@blogger.com
