Me, I'm a mix of all of those though ahahaha. Maybe not the meme queen, but the others, definitely! My reviews solely depend on my mood and how much time I can spend on them, so I never stick to one type! It's all about expressing yourself in whatever feel suits you, after all! I started out as just speed reading through books and as a result, my reviews were always terrible.

Thanks for stopping by, Di!Laura @BlueEyeBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12983345219563729728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2913730726494465142.post-27805320083708855662017-10-19T08:01:47.284-07:002017-10-19T08:01:47.284-07:00Very cool post! It's very helpful too and it's a great reminder to get back to the basics.

Reading to review definitely requires you to be more analytical and careful as a reader and I always take notes on my review copies.

I also love that you mentioned crossposting! We only tend to overlap on books a little so I love that I can go to your blog and skim a review to figure out whether or not to put it on my TBR. I always run out of things to say.

Haha I do the same thing! I used to write down bullet points but then I would always just forget about it or I'd end up writing a lot of the same stuff so I just stopped.

I'm with you there! When I go back to my 2015 archives, it's a nightmare.

Thanks for stopping by, Stephanie!Laura @BlueEyeBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12983345219563729728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2913730726494465142.post-70310401845825296312017-10-17T13:52:19.677-07:002017-10-17T13:52:19.677-07:00I’m definitely more of a short stack reviewer. I always think I should take notes, but never actually do! And I find I write best if I allow a day or so between finishing reading and starting reviewing for my thoughts to 'mature'.
Reviewing has definitely become easier and more rewarding the more I have done. When I transfer some of my earliest reviews over from my personal to my book blog, I cringe at how amateur they seem!

Love Sherlock too :-)

Stephanie Jane @ Literary FlitsStephanie Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16071958445763105060noreply@blogger.com
