Maybe the feeling is more potent because I had been watching lots of Hallmark movies but it really irritates me. I’m sick of all the Christmas movies being about romance. Come on! Of course, like Florida, some places don't have the typical four seasons (wet and dry for example) and maybe winter is just characterized by cold temperatures and snow. I don't really know. It was refreshing to read about a summery Christmas with the problem being too much heat, not too much snow. There was a lot of falling in love though!

Stephanie Jane @ Literary FlitsStephanie Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16071958445763105060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2913730726494465142.post-25580430519962778392017-12-29T09:19:57.554-08:002017-12-29T09:19:57.554-08:00It's interesting that you bring up snow! Now that you mention it, I think every Christmas themed book I've read has taken place in the snow (the "snowed in" trope is quite popular!) however I live in an area where there's no snow at all (our winter is about 60 degrees) and I've never thought to seek out a warmer-weather Christmas book! (Honestly, I'm not even sure if there are any!)

-Cristina @ Girl in the Pages
Cristina @ Girl in the Pageshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18386751381524579160noreply@blogger.com
