Stacking the Shelves (8) and A Week in Review

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly event hosted by Tynga's Reviews.  It features books you've recently added to your shelves, be it from the library, bookstore, or ebooks.

I'm trying to get back on a regular schedule of reading so I've decided to read one ebook, one physical library book, and one R&R at a time.  No more of this 5 books at once!  And I have... you know... life to work around so I have to rein myself in a bit :)  So!  I got 3 books from my ebook library and one from the physical library!  Here they are:

Ebooks

The Forever Song by Julie Kagawa (Blood of Eden #3)
This is the last book in the Blood of Eden series!!  I loved The Immortal Rules and The Eternity Cure so I can't wait to read this!  And after I finish it, all that's left is the prequel - Dawn of Eden!

The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider
I think this book was actually on my summer TBR list... Oops?  I'm getting to it now!  But seriously, it has such a pretty cover right?!  Yeah I know, never judge a book by it's cover.  I couldn't help it!

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
I've been hearing a lot about this book from all over the spectrum.  And it was on my summer TBR!

Physical Library

Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick (Hush, hush #3)
This is my first time reading this series and it's... been... good I guess... yeah I don't really know.  I guess it matters a lot to me how it ends.

What did you add to your shelves this week?

A Week In Review

Sunday: R&R Review of Awakening Foster Kelly by Cara Rosalie Olsen
Monday: Review of Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore
Tuesday: Top Ten Tuesday (4) - Books that were hard for me to read
Wednesday: Waiting on Wednesday - Fairest by Marissa Meyer

  1. Hehe, I know what you mean about the Hush Hush series. Like I didn't LOVE the first book, but I'm deathly curious to how it pans out and I have to read the second (and hopefully the rest). Curiosity killed the cat?! I loved We Were Liars, though! That is one heck of a reveal at the end. I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT! My Stacking the Shelves!

  2. Good haul! I need to read the last of the Hush, Hush series (Finale) still. And We Were Liars and The Beginning of Everything are both on my TBR list! Hope you have a great week!

  3. Read We Were Liars NOW! Haha, that is one of my favorite books of this year. It was so unique and mysterious and unlike so many people I really loved the characters and enjoyed getting to hear about their lives.

  4. Great books Laura! I've never read the Hush Hush series (because I've been sooo behind on reading) before, and I've heard lots of great things about Julie Kagawa. I hope you enjoy them! :)
